About

I am just a guy raised in the mountains of rural Northern California. I developed an appreciation for computers at a young age. Our first computer was a Tandy my dad bought from Radio Shack in the 90s. We played all the shareware games that came in the mail: Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3d, and a whole host of others. My first personal computer was given to me by an uncle that changed careers to a system-administrator from blue collar. As I grew up, I became the resident IT guy of the family and friends. Eventually this led to help-desk roles in the workforce and later a system administrator role. Now I have my own homelab with a Home Assistant instance, NAS, and Plex server. I run into issues that sometimes have a variety of solutions or a combination of different solutions scattered over the internet that I want to bring together and share with others. I also fix and maintain a variety of machines and vehicles that we have up in the mountains. When I have free time (what’s this?) I like to spend time in creation enjoying what the environment has to offer.
